ABOUT FRANJO

While our incorporation date was February 4, 1997, our story starts much earlier. For those who don’t know, “Franjo” is the combination of two brothers’ names – Frank Leonello (our CEO), and Joe Leonello, Jr. (our President). Their father, Joe Leonello, Sr., was in the business of building homes, so they grew up in construction. Before forming Franjo Construction, Frank built a successful career in Construction Estimating, having served as the Vice President of Estimating for Dick Corporation, and Joe Jr. built a successful career as one of H.J. Heinz’s leading sales managers. They always had that entrepreneurial spirit and now, with their own businesses, can support other businesses through their highly skilled construction services.

As client-oriented firms, we focus on delivering the highest quality product, relying on our wide range of experience and long-term relationships with leading industry and local trade partners. We offer a fresh approach, where handshakes still hold immense value and customer satisfaction is at the heart of all that we do. In all our dealings, whether with our team, subcontractors, or clients, we value transparency. Our goal is not only to build quality products but to build lasting relationships.

Internally, we speak to each other with radical candor. We work hard so we can play hard. We have each other’s backs. We are committed to building a legacy – the Franjo legacy. We build in all commercial markets on projects of any scale. Those in our industry know us as the go-to contractor with a collaborative approach. Every project is unique, but early integrated teaming with all project stakeholders is key to any project’s success.

Our staff have been involved in projects ranging from $20,000 to $800M. Recent work includes everything from a 2,000 SF medical office renovation to 575+ unit apartments to adaptive reuse of century-old buildings into class A office space. Clients from all over the country approach us, whether they’re a solo developer working on their first or 100^th project, or corporations like Aldi, Uber, Wyndham Hotels, or Milhaus.
