Local Contractor Acquires Fort Lauderdale-based Construction Company

Franjo Construction Corporation and Platino Holdings is pleased to announce the acquisition of Fort Lauderdale-based commercial contractor GSD Contracting. Founded in 1980 by co-founders Greg DeJohn and Guy DeJohn, the company currently has 17 employees with $15 million in revenue. GSD Contracting, in addition to Franjo, will be included in the portfolio of Platino Holdings which is looking to expand its marketing efforts and diversify its interests, both locally and regionally. Platino Holdings President Joe Leonello stated “the acquisition of GSD is viewed as the next step in expanding and transforming the company. GSD’s history, culture and commitment to client satisfaction compliments and mimics Franjo’s which makes the partnership a compelling and formidable contributor in the Florida and southeast region construction markets.”

We are confident that our new affiliation with GSD Contracting will serve our clients and partnership favorably and look forward to future success.
