Allegheny Petroleum, a manufacturer of lubricants and fuel additives with 5 locations, has experienced growth in its organization. This meant the team kept adding to its manufacturing space in Wilmerding when it needed more office space. Eventually, there was no more room to create, and they began looking at other options. Ultimately, they opted to renovate an office building in Monroeville. They called upon Desmone for the design, and when prompted for a recommendation on a General Contractor with RCAP-funded project experience, Desmone brought in Franjo Construction.
Throughout the process, the project team kept in regular communication with Allegheny Petroleum and worked diligently toward project success. A representative from Allegheny Petroleum, Tyler Schober, expressed total satisfaction with the project and Franjo. He specifically called out Project Manager Frank Hewitt, Superintendent Chris Maline, and Assistant Project Manager Nate Heid for being knowledgeable and highly responsive.
I have nothing negative to say about [Franjo’s] people or the process. … This is a new thing for us, so it’s been that much more helpful having knowledgeable people help us out.” -Tyler
Allegheny Petroleum wanted an office their team would be proud of – one that would improve the experience for everyone from their team to customers to suppliers. With the project now complete, they are proud to say that’s just what they got.
