Franjo Construction is excited to begin a new project in Philadelphia, PA. The project is a ground-up mixed-use development with repeat client Red Rocks Group. Franjo recently completed the renovation of two multi-family properties with Red Rocks Group in Downtown Pittsburgh’s Cultural District: Press House and The William. Both buildings were historic structures, originally office spaces, which were thoughtfully adapted to become modern apartments.

Franjo is now ready to take on Red Rocks Group’s newest pursuit in Philadelphia: The Residences on Sansom.

The development will comprise nearly 142,000 SF with 128 apartments (studio, 1-bed, and 2-bed), a 40-space underground parking garage with bicycle parking, and approximately 36,000 SF of office space. Amenities will include a green roof, a fitness room, a study lounge, and a roof deck with a dog walk.

It is located at 4240 Chestnut St in West Philadelphia’s Spruce Hill. Franjo Construction is enthusiastic to be the construction lead on this project, alongside DAS Architects Inc., the architectural lead on the project.

The project is estimated to be completed towards the end of 2023.
